my high school friend lindsey is in town. last night i met up with her in the village, we saw the guy who wrote "that thing you do" perform. he is related to lindsey's boyfriend, so after the show we got to meet him. such a nice guy. today we went shopping, then met up with her other friend and walked through central park, then we went to the met (metropolitan museum). central park is soooo beautiful right now, all the leaves are changing colors and falling. i wish i had taken some pictures. maybe ill go back tomorrow. and for some reason today was perfect weather. it is november but the sun was shining and it was hot outside. who knew. i love season changes. something i definitely didn't see too much of in cali. rockefeller center is starting to get ready for winter, the ice skating rink is up and the big tree is there but not decorated yet.
