random encounter.

i was at school in the cafeteria talking with my friend jennifer when this girl came up to her. they start talking, turns out the girl was in london last semester so immediately my ears perk up and i begin to talk with her about london and travelling abroad and everything. then she asks me what undergrad i went to. i thought it was a random question, especially since we weren't talking about college. i told her i went to berkeley and she goes "you lived on my floor freshman year."

so i looked at her and it hit me. "lisa?" "yeah, you remembered." she looked so different, longer hair, more mature-looking, skinnier. how random is that? i haven't seen lisa since freshman year of college when i was 19. it's always nice to run into people you used to know. especially in new york and when it's least expected.
