thanksgiving was good. it is always nice to escape the city for a few days and spend time with the family. my little cousins are so interesting. the oldest kid goes to sleep super early even when she's allowed to stay up late. the middle kid totally cheated at monopoly and still cheated even after i would call him out on it (he would roll a 7 and go 8 spaces because the free parking was 8 spaces away, i let it slide 3 times, then i realized it wasn't an accident). the youngest one can't take no for an answer. i played with her for like 7 hours, let her do my hair, run around, draw pictures, play improv, tell stories, whatever she wanted. then after 7 hours i was like no more and she got all mad. oh kiddies.

my family were all really into deal or no deal. does anyone watch that show? i get so impatient with these newer game shows that try and build suspense. they freaking take forever. i like shows like jeopardy where it's fast. no suspense, no waiting for someone to consult with their ENTIRE family. but my family likes that you get emotionally involved with the contestants that you get to see their family and see what they are trying to win the money for.
