family events are definitely more fun now that i can drink at them! we had a family bbq on sunday and it was actually pretty fun. grandma was drinking scotch on the rocks. grandma is awesome. but she didn't get drunk, she can handle her stuff.

i rearranged all the furniture in my room yesterday. i like it a lot better now. there's a lot more floor space. i still need a desk and a chair and a bookshelf and maybe a nighttable stand. oh and posters for the walls. i started putting up some wall decorations and it definitely makes the place look more like mine. like home.

my first hearing is tomorrow. i'm helping a lady out with her unemployment claim. i just hope i do her justice. i'm a bit nervous about it, because you never know what can happen at these things. or if the judge is out to get you. scariness.

thursday is poker at adam's and friday its italian food in brooklyn with the ladies from work. good times up ahead.
