if you want cheap theater tickets, you can go the morning of the show to the box office when it opens (10 a.m.) and they sell about 30 or so really really good seats at really really cheap prices. i saw the color purple this weekend, sat in the second row center for 26.50. face value of the ticket was 110. good deal. and awesome play. i definitely recommend it. i didn't know how they would make a musical out of that book/movie since it's such a sad topic but they made it and it works so well.
