it's been getting cold here lately, guess autumn is settling in. i just hope this winter isn't a bad one. last year's winter was really mild, i'm told i'm lucky that it was my first winter since the winter before that was insanely bad.

one good thing about season changes is seasonal flavors! like pumpkin! the other day at starbucks i got a slice of pumpkin loaf AND a pumpkin spiced latte. never too much pumpkin flavored things in my world. must find jack in the box and load up on pumpkin shakes.

i don't get why law students always think they should argue with professors about everything. i mean i guess they are law students so they love to argue, but still, there's a time and a place for everything, and sometimes the middle of class isnt that time. we just spent 10 minutes of class time listening to some kid argue with the professor about why he wasn't sitting in his assigned seat. the professor has a lady from the registrar's office come in and take attendance. she came in and the kid went up to her to tell her he wasn't in his seat. the professor got mad and the kid tried to explain that he had to switch seats so that he could plug his laptop in. the professor said the kid should have told him before class. the kid argued that this was just for today. the professor said he still should have talked to him. on and on like this. finally the kid was assigned a new permanent seat where he had access to a plug for his precious laptop. if it were me and i was in a class of 70 or so people i would not waste everyone's time. but that's just me i guess.
