new orleans trip was great, as to be expected. chrissy took me to florida for a day. we drove through mississippi and alabama to get there. tons of waffle houses all around. we didn't eat in any but maybe next time. the beach in florida was so beautiful. white sand and everything.

other than that not much going on in my world. working hard at school. became a chairperson of my school's public interest committee and me and the other co-chair are trying to do some really cool things with the committee. we are trying to create volunteer opportunities for students at our school so they can give back and help those in need. i never saw myself as an organizer but i'm starting to like that role. perhaps this is something i can do in the future. we shall see. speaking of the future, that's a scary word. wondering where i will be. i don't think ny will be my permanent home. i'm starting to miss nice weather and places that aren't so hectic. but for now i enjoy my apartment and my life and being near 1000000 starbucks!
