i'm actually doing something instead of just talking about it. over summer i got an email from a group called the student hurricane network which organizes law student trips to new orleans over winter/spring/summer breaks to help with the relief effort. i'll admit at first i just saw a trip to new orleans and emailed them back. now i'm my school's student liaison and am planning a trip for me and about 8 other students to new orleans over winter break. the career counsellor is helping me get funding from the school, so that plus a few fundraising bake sales and such should be plenty. i just feel so useful.

those who know me for awhile know i have a lot of big ideas but don't always put them into play. like the movie i planned on filming. the one i wrote and cast and made copies of the script that i distributed. then i just let that idea die. well not this time! :)
