went on a picnic in central park yesterday. well not really a picnic, the people i was with brought a pizza to the park and we sat and ate it and played a bit of volleyball. it was nice though. i definitely need to spend more time in the park before the weather gets bad. especially since i'm walking distance from the park. so yeah, i really have no excuses. i was hanging out with one of the interns i work with, david from texas and some of his texas friends who have all relocated to nyc. it was good to hang out with new people, they were all so nice and friendly. i had a really good time.

two more weeks of work, then school starts up again. i really am not looking forward to school. i am looking forward to the school life, having afternoons off, sleeping in, learning law again. i miss all that. but i don't miss (most of) the people at law school. its like i had the summer to not see or think about them and things are great now, but the minute they creep back into my thoughts i hate it. although unlike last year where i had the same people in every single one of my classes, this year i will have a mix of people, some from last year some i've never met before so hopefully that will change the dynamic up a bit and i'll meet some nice law kids.
