Everything in the universe has rhythm. Everything dances. - Maya Angelou

"[Documentary filmmakers] like nonfiction. And we live in fictitious times, and we have fictitious election results that elect a fictitious president that sends us to war for fictitious reasons. We live in a time where we have a man who's sending us to war for fictitious reasons, whether it's the fiction of duct tape or the fiction of orange alerts. We are against this war, Mr. Bush! Shame on you, Mr. Bush! Shame on you! And anytime you've got the pope and the Dixie Chicks against you, it's a bad sign!" - Michael Moore

Mad props to Michael Moore for not only getting all the fellow nominees in his category on stage with him, but for not apologizing or backing down after making these statements...later at a press conference:

Asked backstage why he made the remarks, Moore answered: "I'm an American."
"Is that all?" a reporter asked.
"Oh, that's a lot," Moore responded.
He dismissed the jeers he received, telling reporters: "Don't report that there was a split decision in the hall because five loud people booed."
