starting to take pictures of new york. while in new orleans, chrissy was saying how she never took pictures of her own city, yet she always wanted to. same with me and new york. you always think "i can take pictures any day" so then you just never do. i'll be posting some pictures from the past few days as soon as i upload them from the camera. two days ago i went wandering around the village and yesterday i went to shake shack with my fellow interns, so there are pictures from both those adventures.

last night i went to my friend adam's and we drank a trader joe's 3 dollar bottle of wine and watched fast times at ridgemont high. should have taken pictures in adam's neighborhood just for the sake of contrast. he lives in harlem. quite a different world than the village or madison park (where shake shack is). fast times was such a hilarious movie! i had bought it at circuit city without actually ever watching it because it was only 4 dollars and i figured for that price if i hated it i'd just give it to someone who didn't. i also bought: dazed and confused and eternal sunshine of the spotless mind. each was 4 dollars. how ridiculously cheap is that?

this weekend grandma and my aunt will be in town and are taking me to a fancy dinner on saturday, then that night it's off to sheebani's bday bash at glass. tonight jennifer (from work) and i are gonna go to st john's right after work to take care of some stuff, then go to this thai place she has been raving about and get some drinks. hopefully i can fit the gym in sometime this weekend. and that tan i keep talking about getting. i need to stop talking about it and make it happen!
