being the total yuppie that i am i have a starbucks credit card which i get free starbucks for charging stuff. plus 4 times a year they just give me free starbucks. so yeah, i guess i haven't been to starbucks in awhile, i have 47 dollars worth of starbucks on the card. how cool is that?
good weekend. very busy. friday chrissy and i went to the voodoo festival and saw rage against the machine which was awesome. then saturday i went with my friend justin to the laketown festival, which is the thing i won tickets for on the radio show. gretchen wilson and lonestar played and both were amazing. gretchen has such a great voice and so much energy. lots of local food there. copeland's had a booth and they served this fried bowtie pasta with spinach dip which was just amazing. i have never had fried pasta before, and if you haven't i definitely recommend it. then on sunday chrissy and i ran errands, made her apartment look even better than it already does, built a shoe rack and display shelf. we also went to see saw IV, which was definitely the bloodiest of the 4. the saw movies are really good. i love how they all tie together and definitely make you think more than the average horror flick. i think i want them on dvd.
i also want to buy the new version of dawn of the dead, because that was good. and at saw IV they showed a preview of jessica alba's new horror movie - the eye. it looks really scary. it's a remake of a hong kong film about a girl who gets an eye operation and then can see spirits. creepy. i really want to see gone, baby, gone. i've heard it is amazing. ben affleck's directorial debut. glad to hear he is doing something of substance rather than the crap he has been putting out lately.
