soccer team tied 11-11 yesterday. i scored like 7 or 8 goals. it was INSANE. i was just on. perhaps its because chrissy came to watch. or the new shoes i was trying out. but it's good to be back. it's good to have my skills return to me!
my mom was here this weekend. such a good visit. we ate SO much. one night we went to emeril's for dessert. THE BEST. that place is definitely worth the money. it was funny we were on bourbon street earlier in the day and there was a band playing in a bar so we stopped in to listen. they wanted us to order something so my mom got a diet coke. the waitress brings it with a bill for $4.75. my mom and i are like wtf 4.75 for a coke, this isn't new york! turns out the lady made her a rum and diet coke! haha i guess on bourbon street they don't understand non-alcoholic drink orders!

I don't think I've ever been charged more than $2 for a Diet Coke in NY!

at a club i was once charged 5 dollars for a diet coke. no tip for them!
